OC Rd

Welcome to one of my favorite roads in the area...

Some nice clouds on this afternoon.

OK, so they're not all old farm buildings.  There's a high rent district hidden off this road.  I had wanted to go check it out, I love doing Architectural Digest in person.  So I finally found out exactly how to access that area, and...  No go!  Private road.  No trespassing.  Blah, blah, blah.  Oh well.  For now.  The house in this picture is nothing compared to some of the cool-looking casas I could glimpse back in the trees...

 Country roads.  They're the best.

This is a pretty darn nice house.  It's not part of the secluded, PRIVATE PRIVATE, upscale mansion neighborhood.  In fact, it's right there in the open, where just any ol' eyeballs can see it!  (and even photograph it!  ;)  But it sure is idyllic nonetheless!

 Part of a very ritzy-rustic ranch set-up.

You can take this road up to K Pass and down into Tourist Town, USA, to make a scenic little loop.  But we're just going to cover OC Rd here today.  Taking the Zou up to hike a new little trail (new to us anyways!), and then just heading back.

Got to see this pen in use last fall.  Was hoping to get some more round-up photos this year but no luck.  (still summer in this photo, but we came back to WK1 for some early fall stuff too)

More ugly back roads...
Just makes you wish you were in Vegas, right?  Actually, I'm SO happy that SO many people do prefer the bright lights...!!!!!!  Please, by all means...go there, stay there!!!!!
